On 23 November 2021, at the initiative of the Ministry of Climate and Environment, the Agreement on Cooperation for the Development of Biogas and Biomethane Sector was officially signed in Warsaw. Polska Spółka Gazownictwa supports the development of geothermal energy in Poland
Polska Spółka Gazownictwa, Oddział Zakład Gazowniczy in Szczecinie signed an agreement with G-TERM ENERGY Sp. z o.o. for the connection of the Geotermia Stargard to the gas network. This is the second largest geothermal system in Poland in terms of heat production.
