ORCS Map and Gas Quality

Please be advised that as of August 1, 2014, the units of account for the distribution of fuel gases have changed. Payments between Polska Spółka Gazownictwa and gas suppliers (DSC) for fuel gases transported by PSG will now be made in energy units (kWh), and not in volume units (m³).

The obligation to calculate payments in energy units results from the Regulation of the Minister of Economy of June 28, 2013 on the detailed principles of formulating and calculating tariffs and settlements in fuel gas trading; the calculations will be based on the current PSG Tariff, as approved by the President of the ERO.

The introduction of a new unit of account does not mean calibration will be changed or measuring devices (gas meters) will be replaced.

Since August 1, 2014, billing for the gas supplied and the transmission, distribution, and storage services provided has been obligatorily calculated in energy units (kWh).

Therefore, in accordance with the Distribution Network Code, the combustion heat billing areas (ORCS) and the monthly average values of the gross calorific value assigned to them are published in the Downloads below. Furthermore, in order to allow you to locate the gas meter in specific ORCS, the “Territorial ORCS” search engine is also made public.

Since October 1, 2020, the ORCS Map has been available, allowing you to see the allocation of the city and the values of the Combustion Heat in the ORCS.

Please also note that starting December 1, 2022, ORCS data will be presented only on the indicated Map.
