Distribution Network Code
Polska Spółka Gazownictwa sp. z o.o. declares that by the decision of the President of the Energy Regulatory Office dated December 23, 2019—DRR.WRG.4323.1.2019.ŁWę—the Distribution Network Code was approved and came into force on January 1, 2020 at 6:00 a.m.
The changes introduced to the Distribution Network Code (DNC) are related to the adjustment to the DNC approved by the President of the ERO (in accordance with Article 9g Item 8 of the Energy Law) and result from the need to adapt the DNC to the changing legal requirements and the experience gained during the application of the current DNC, as well as suggestions provided by users of the distribution system.
The DNC specifies provisions regarding the supplier switching process, the rules for allocation, commercial balancing, and installation of measurement devices, including prepayment measurement systems. New regulations on backup sale, Collective Notifications of Demand, as well as LNG and agricultural biogas installations were introduced.
