About the Company

Polska Spółka Gazownictwa sp. z o.o. employs over 11,000 employees, operates throughout Poland, and distributes gas through over 200,000 km of gas pipelines.

PSG is a modern company with rich traditions, drawing on the experience of over 170 years of Polish gas industry history. It is one of the largest operators of a gas distribution system in Europe.

Polska Spółka Gazownictwa is the operator of the gas distribution system in Poland. The company’s main task is to reliably and safely transport fuel gases through the distribution network throughout the country, directly to end-users and the networks of other, local operators. The company provides transport services of fuel gas based on contracts with partner businesses which trade in fuel gas.

PSG takes care of network traffic management, expansion, maintenance and repairs of networks and devices, and measurement of the quality and quantity of the gas which is transported.

Board of Directors

Kazimierz Kujda is a Doctor of Technical Sciences and a graduate of the Electrical Engineering Faculty of the Warsaw University of Technology. He holds a Master’s degree from the Production Economics Department at the Central School of Planning and Statistics (currently the Warsaw School of Economics) in Warsaw. In 1996, he was awarded an MBA degree in the Centre for Management Training at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw. 

He has a strong working knowledge of economics and finance. He gained that knowledge while working in management and supervisory boards of commercial companies and financial institutions for over 20 years. He served three times as the President of the Management Board of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. He was a member of the supervisory boards of Bank Ochrony Środowiska S.A. and Polish State Railways S.A. 

As a rector at Bogdan Jański Academy, he combined practical experience in economics and finance with academic and managerial work.

He is familiar with energy transition, in particular the challenges faced by the gas sector. He has extensive experience in preparing and implementing projects in accordance with the European Commission standards. He has adequate expertise to improve organisational practices that favour effective use of EU funds in infrastructure investments.

Mr. Krzysztof Zając is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He has completed legal, counselling, and legislative training. He has written many bills, regulations, opinions, and contracts.

From 1993 to 1999, he worked in the Office of the Council of Ministers and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. He also gained professional experience working at the Government Legislation Center and the Institute of National Remembrance.

Since 1994, he has been working in entities managing EU funds, including the Implementing Authority for European Projects, Digital Poland Project Center, and the Center for European Projects Service of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, gaining knowledge and experience in the area of obtaining, spending, and accounting for EU funds.

Since 2002, he has been the owner of the Krzysztof Zając Law Firm, which specialises in providing comprehensive services to business entities and the professional body of civil engineers.

He is a founding member of the Polish Legislative Society, the Garwolin Region Entrepreneurship Association, the Garwolin Association, the European Initiative Support Association, the Garwolin County Forum Association, and was a founding member and the first chairman of the supervisory board of Garwolin Housing Estate.

Mr Krzysztof Zając also gained professional experience as a board member, chairman and member of supervisory boards of, among others, PGE EJ1 sp. z o.o., PKS in Garwolin S.A., PSG sp. z o.o.

Mr. Krzysztof Zając was appointed to the position of Member of the Supervisory Board at PSG sp. z o.o. by the Minister of State Assets.

Ms Anna Zychowicz is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (Law Faculty). She also completed postgraduate studies in Investor Relations and Financial Communication, Warsaw School of Economics (2010), in Real Estate Appraisal, Warsaw School of Management-University (2014) and Restructuring and Bankruptcy Law, at the Lazarski University (2019).

She has been a legal advisor since 2013 - entered on the list of legal advisors of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Lublin. She specializes in civil law, commercial companies law, commercial law and labor law.

She has many years of experience in providing comprehensive legal assistance to businesses, in particular capital companies from the construction sector. She has expertise in the field of corporate services for companies. She has participated in mergers and division of capital companies. Moreover, while working in a public company, she gained extensive professional experience, including in the area of investor relations, performing disclorure requirements and transparency of activities.

She handles the processes of concluding (risk analysis and assessment, and negotiations), implementing (claims management) and final settlement of construction contracts, relating to investments on both domestic and foreign markets.

Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and the Warsaw School of Economics. Legal adviser and expert in labour, commercial, business, and civil law. Mr Tomasz Wiatrak graduated from the University of Warsaw with a Master’s degree in business management (2005). He also completed post-graduate studies at Akademia Ewaluacji Rozwojowych Programów Społecznych i Przedsiębiorczość [Academy for the Evaluation of Developmental Social Programmes and Entrepreneurship] (2009) and post-graduate studies at Akademia Strategicznego Przywództwa [Academy of Strategic Leadership] held by ICAN Institute, the publisher of the Polish edition of Harvard Business Review. In 2021, he completed his Execuitve MBA, an international post-graduate programme at Politecnico di Milano in Italy.

He holds a number of certifications in auditing (CIA and CGAP) and project management (Prince2Practitioner and M_o_R, ITIL) and is the lead auditor for the information security management system following ISO/IEC 27001.

He has extensive experience in management, including the supervision of development and optimisation projects and auditing activities. In his previous roles, he was responsible for the creation, operationalisation and implementation of effective development strategies as well as operational and strategic management in the companies under his supervision.

In July 2019, Mr Tomasz Wiatrak took up the position of the President of the Management Board and CEO of ORLEN Unipetrol Group. The company’s biggest successes during his term include the launch of a 270,000-tonne polyethylene production facility and the return of the ORLEN Benzina station to the Slovak market after an absence of more than 20 years.

Currently, Director of the Legal and Compliance Department at PGNiG S.A. Previously, he practised as a legal advisor and held managerial positions in the legal departments of energy sector companies.

He also served as an expert on legislation in the Sejm Analysis Bureau of the Chancellery of the Sejm. He has hands-on knowledge and experience in corporate operations, including the functioning of supervisory boards.

She has an academic background in finance. In 2002, she graduated from the Cracow University of Economics with a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking. In 2021, she obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration at Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu – the National Louis Univesity. She has attended a number of courses and seminars on tax law and tax reporting.

She has more than twenty years of professional experience in business accounting. In her professional work to date, she has been involved in many projects relating to the analysis and evaluation of financial statements and other accounting documents and financial reports of commercial and manufacturing companies.

From 2019 to 2020, she was a member and secretary on the Supervisory Board of Ruch S.A. and a member of its Audit Committee. Since October 2021, she has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Energa-Operator S.A. based in Gdańsk.
