Tests

A grey gas meter connected to pipes, next to metal frame components and cables
The laboratory conducts tests on the compliance of converters with the requirements of company standards ZN-G-4007 and EN 12405. The most commonly performed tests:
  • accuracy of gas volume and energy calculations under measurement and baseline (contract) conditions,
  • correctness of calculation of the correction factor, volume, and flowrate,
  • accuracy under forced exposure conditions,
  • HF and LF pulse input testing,
  • the correctness of detecting and signalling emergency conditions,
  • calibration of pressure and temperature measurement chains,
  • calibration of analogue inputs/outputs of the conversion device.
The scope of PCA accreditation: AB 278.
The physicochemical laboratory provides the following services:
  • Calibration of water dew point temperature measuring instrument
  • Calibration of density meters
  • Validation of gas laboratories
  • Testing (attestation) of on-line gas chromatographs at the site of their installation, including those subject to monitoring under the Act on trading in air emission allowances of greenhouse gases and other substances
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis of natural gases: high-methane and nitrogenous gases
  • Determination of physicochemical parameters of natural gases
  • Technical consultations
  • Measurement ranges and uncertainties can be found in the Knowledge Base tab
The scope of PCA accreditation: AP 017, AB 278.
