SFTP

The SFTP standard is a service provided by PSG enabling the secure downloading of files containing data and documents transmitted by the DSO to the ZUD.
Communication is unidirectional (DSO → ZUD) using the encrypted SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol), which ensures a high level of data protection and stability in the information exchange process. The SFTP standard enables access to key operational data, including:
  • Bulk Demand Requests (ZZZ)
  • Attachments to invoices for the distribution service
  • Gas meter replacements in file format (CSV)
  • Meter reading information for suspended and resumed deliveries at a PoD
  • Responses to PZDs in XML format
  • Detailed Meter Reading Schedule
  • Information on the death of a customer at a given PoD,
  • Information on re-tariffed PoDs in accordance with the provisions of the PSG Tariff (point 4.6)
  • MSCONS messages in XML format for WS and WR type offtake points
  • Commercial Equalisation Report
  • Commercial Balancing Report for a Local Distribution Area
  • Commercial Distribution Report for WS and WR type offtake points
  • Meter reading data for WS and WR type offtake points in CSV file format
The SFTP server is available at sftp.psgaz.pl and operates on the Internet, with the DSO reserving the right to modify technical parameters such as the IP address. Communication is carried out exclusively using encryption algorithms generally recognised as secure, and the DSO may introduce updates to them to ensure the highest level of protection.

An individual account is created in the DSO system for each ZUD, and login takes place using an SSH key provided by the ZUD. The keys used, both in terms of type and technical parameters, may be subject to change. The DSO reserves the right to introduce changes in favour of stronger cryptographic solutions.

The ZUD may use the SFTP service via any client that supports the offered protocols and cryptographic algorithms on the selected system platform. It is recommended to use up-to-date versions of popular SFTP clients, such as WinSCP (https://winscp.net/) or FileZilla  (https://filezilla-project.org/).

The document contains detailed technical guidelines and security recommendations regarding key management.
