The game of the Gas Museum in Paczków takes part in the Polish History Museum contest
“I am glad that Gas Age, a large-format board game, has been appreciated by the judges and qualified for the second stage of the contest in the Education category. The next step is Internet voting. I encourage you to vote for the project by the Gas Museum in Paczków,” said Robert Więckowski, President of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa, the museum’s patron.
The Gas Age game is set in the geopolitical backdrop of the second half of the 19th century. Players take on the role of managers of a gasworks in one of the cities in Poland. They plan the purchase of raw materials, react to changes brought about by historical discoveries and events, develop new technologies, build more and more efficient facilities, and have a say in the employment conditions for employees.
The winners of the second stage in each category of the contest will be selected by Internet users. You can cast votes until 15 August 2022 on the contest website: www.whr.muzhp.pl, where you can find information about this year’s winners. To vote, you need to cast a total of three votes, one for each category, accept the rules of the contest, provide an e-mail address, and confirm your vote by clicking on the link you will receive in your e-mail. The Gas Age game is competing against four other projects in the Education category.
