During his speech, he pointed out that Polska Spółka Gazownictwa started to analyse the potential and the directions of the development of the Polish energy and heating sectors last year to address the issue of energy transformation. To meet this purpose, as he noticed, PSG adopted the Gas Transformation Programme and established the Energy Department responsible for preparing the company to effectively and efficiently carry out investments related to supplying heat plants in the country.

PSG Management Board Member at the Heat and Gas Forum
Ireneusz Krupa, PSG Management Board Member for Development and Investments, took part in the Heat and Gas Forum. During his speech, he talked about the development of the distribution network in view of the transformation needs of the heating sector. Then, he took part in the discussion panel “Practical aspects of implementing fuel gases in system heating.”
New areas of cooperation with the heating industry are opening up. We have created a special department for this purpose, we have specialists, and we are ready for talks.

He also assessed the readiness of Poland for changes necessary for the transformation of energy sources. “I have the impression that the supply diversification was well planned years ago as the energy transformation in Poland was considered in the long-term perspective. We are carrying out large-scale investments,” he said. “Special attention is now focused on the customer and great efforts are made to encourage customers to switch to gas. With these steps, we must remember to expand the distribution network,” he added.
