Priest Krzysztof Banasik, deputy director of Caritas of the Kielce Diocese, praised the attitude which is full of evangelical, Samaritan kindness to people in need. He thanked for material and financial assistance.

To date, Caritas of the Kielce Diocese organised 62 humanitarian aid transports that included goods weighing 75 tonnes, worth over 1,150,000.00 zlotys. Our Eastern neighbours received food, clothes, cleaning and hygiene products, blankets, mattresses and power generators. The shipments reached the residents of, among others, Yavoriv, Lviv, Tyvriv, Horodok, Kamianets-Podilskyi and Zaporizhzhia.

OZG's employees in Kielce supported the refugees at the very beginning of the war by collecting donations in kind that were donated to the Caritas' main warehouse in March 2022. During the press conference, the branch Oddział Zakład Gazowniczy in Kielce was represented by the director of OZG, Radosław Słoniewski.

Moved by the tragedy of the Ukrainian citizens seeking shelter, Polska Spółka Gazownictwa provided financial aid for local organisations helping refugees. Furthermore, along with Caritas Poland, PSG coordinated the donation of products for people in need. First, donations were collected for children from children's homes who arrived from Ukraine.

Charity campaigns were also organised at PSG; these were initiated by employees that eagerly joined the campaign to support the refugees by, e.g. helping to provide transportation for those in need or of the donated goods.
