The debate was moderated by the Editor-in-Chief of the BiznesAlert.pl website Wojciech Jakóbik; other participants were PSG Management Board Member Jakub Kowalski, Vice President for Operations of the Management Board of PGNiG Robert Perkowski, the President of the Management Board of the Polish Power Exchange Piotr Zawistowski, the President of Instytut Jagielloński Marcin Roszkowski, the President of Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe Kędzierzyn Filip Grzegorczyk, legal advisor and expert of the Lower Silesian Institute for Energy Studies DISE Kamila Tarnacka and Attorney-at-Law Małgorzata Banasik.
The panel discussed issues related to the implementation of the great energy transition in the current geopolitical environment, which resulted in a significant increase in gas prices.
“Since the outbreak of the war, we have seen a declining interest in building investments among individual customers and the fact that they are looking for other sources of energy than connecting to the gas grid only. On the other hand, we are noticing increased interest in connecting professional entities to our networks”, said the Member of the Management Board for Operations of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa.
