Gasification of Rakowiec village

Polska Spółka Gazownictwa (PSG) has begun the next stage of gasification in the Siedlce municipality. As part of the project, which began a year ago, about 10 km of network has already been built in Zelkow-Kolonia. By the end of the year, PSG will expand it by nearly a kilometre and provide gas access to dozens more residents.
Polska Spółka Gazownictwa has already invested a total of about PLN 2.4 million in the gasification of Zelkow-Kolonia. The ongoing Phase III will not only provide access to the gas network for two large local manufacturing plants but will also guarantee security of the gas supply for residents in the event of any damage to the pipeline by outside entities.

“Gasification boosts the development of areas, and the example of the Siedlce municipality demonstrates this perfectly. This is evidenced by data showing that here, contrary to the general trend, people are not relocating to big cities – on the contrary, their numbers are increasing year by year. Many thanks to the local government and municipal authorities for their cooperation. It is also thanks to your commitment that we can start this undertaking today”, added Robert Więckowski, President of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa.

Currently, in Siedlce County, Polska Spółka Gazownictwa is also carrying out a number of other tasks related to gasification, including in the municipalities of Paprotnia, Suchożebry, Wodynie, and Zbuczyn.
