Also, bear in mind that as of August 1, 2014 the values of gas heating demand marked in the Distribution Network Code as ΔLDGo or ΔLDGrare determined in accordance with Technical Standard of the Chamber of the Gas Industry ST-IGG-2701:2014, entitled “Principles of Fuel Gas Billing in Energy Units” Item 4.2.3 Formula 7, and if the condition specified in Formula 8 is met, allocations are made in accordance with Formula 9.

Please be advised that, since June 1, 2014, the Distribution System Operator (DSO) has sufficient IT systems for Distribution Service Customers (DSC) - End Customers, for which the allocation at outputs is determined based on the algorithm provided by DSC End Users (in accordance with Items 20.2.4 or 20.2.5 of the Distribution Network Code), to perform operational and billing allocations in accordance with Items 20.4 and 20.5 of the Distribution Network Code. In connection with the above, the SDO ceases to make allocations for DSC End Users in proportion to the nominations according to Item 20.5.13 of the Distribution Network Code.

The modernization of ICT systems which support other DSCs are underway, and we will inform you about their completion in a timely manner.

In connection with the approval of the President of the ERO of the new Transmission Network Code at OGP Gaz-System and the new Distribution Network Code at Polska Spółka Gazownictwa, on January 1, 2014 the rules of commercial balancing were changed.

The most important change is the merger of the existing six distribution areas of high-methane E gas into one distribution area, for which OGP Gaz-System has designated the following new virtual point numbers:

  • virtual input point to the distribution area (virtual output point from the transmission system): 109001
  • virtual output point from the distribution area (virtual input point to the transmission system): 179001
In connection with the above, starting from the gas day on January 1, 2014, nominations and operational and billing allocations concerned new areas. Meanwhile, we would like to inform you that Polska Spółka Gazownictwa currently does not have sufficient IT systems to perform the allocation in the full manner specified in Chapter 20 of the Distribution Network Code. Pursuant to Item 20.5.13 of the new Distribution Network Code, billing allocations will be made proportionally to the nominations submitted. In order to ensure the consistency of operational allocations with billing allocations, operational ones will also be performed according to this mode. We will provide updates about the readiness of ICT systems to perform full allocation in advance.
