“When it comes to energy security, from the perspective of Polskie Spółki Gazownictwa, building independence – that is, in particular, the development of domestic component and integration of indigenous gas sources such as biomethane, as well as decentralisation and diversification, are the key words. Gas is an essential source of flexibility and stability for the entire Polish energy system, complementing other energy sources,” said Szymon Paweł Moś, President of the Management Board of PSG, during the opening debate.

The aim of the PSG Management Board is the stable and safe transmission of gas to more than 7 million consumers, as well as the provision of the lowest possible distribution tariff.

“We are heavily investing in the development and modernisation of our infrastructure, as well as in connecting new consumers. The connection of industrial customers in power generation and heating sectors is of particular importance to us. The amount of over PLN 3 billion invested annually in Poland goes to the contractors, of which approximately 96% are Polish-capital companies, including around 90% that are entirely domestically owned,” said Szymon Paweł Moś.
