Gasification of Drohiczyn began in 2019. Initially, the company installed a temporary regasification station in the municipality, and now it has completed the construction of a station that will allow all interested parties to connect to the gas network.

In Podlaskie Voivodeship in 2016, out of 118 municipalities, only 24 had access to natural gas. During the past 7 years, Polska Spółka Gazownictwa has gasified another 21 municipalities, an increase in the level of gasification of nearly 90 percent.

Polska Spółka Gazownictwa invested more than PLN 8.5 million in the gasification of Drohiczyn. As part of the undertaking, in addition to the regasification station, nearly 5.5 km of gas network was built.
