PSG provides information regarding the Reduction Plan

Polska Spółka Gazownictwa announces that, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 17 February 2021 on the manner and procedure for introducing restrictions on consumption of natural gas, it has begun informing the consumers that they have been included in the ‘Plan for the introduction of restrictions on natural gas consumption, first draft for 2025’, approved by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office.

PSG underlines that this information:
  • is sent only to those recipients to whom it applies,
  • is sent as a matter of routine every year, 
  • does not mean the introduction of restrictions on natural gas consumption.
Pursuant to the Act of 16 February 2007 on stocks of crude oil, petroleum products and natural gas, and on the rules of conduct in situations threatening the security of the state’s fuel supply and in the event of disruptions in the oil market, the decision to impose restrictions on natural gas consumption is taken by the Council of Ministers, at the request of the minister responsible for energy resources.
