PSG partners with the ‘Platinum Megawatts 2025’ competition

For the first time, PSG has become a partner of the ‘Platinum Megawatts’ competition, one of the most important industry events aimed at journalists covering energy, gas and new trends in the sector.
The competition, organised by the Polish Power Exchange, promotes reliable and substantive journalism and supports the development of public debate and education in the field of energy. Entries include press articles, online content, radio and television programmes, and podcasts published in 2025.

At this year’s awards ceremony, PSG was represented by Jerzy Sitko, a Member of the PSG Management Board, who presented the award to Barbara Oksińska in the category ‘Best piece on the gas market in 2025’ for her article ‘Flawed EU sanctions. The fuel industry sounds the alarm: we’re still filling our cars with Russian gas’, published on the XYZ website.

During the gala, Dariusz Malinowski (wnp.pl) was also honoured for his piece on the first biomethane plant connected to the PSG distribution network – the article “Sugar factory contributes to Poland’s gas security. The largest facility in Europe”.

PSG’s involvement in the initiative reflects the company’s contribution to fostering a constructive debate on the future of the energy sector and raising awareness of the gas market.
