PSG participates in the debate on the future of the gas sector
The CEO of PSG took part in a panel discussion on the future direction of the gas sector and its role in ensuring energy stability and security within a changing regulatory environment.
– As PSG, being part of the Orlen Group, we are aware of our special responsibility for energy security, system stability and the prudent management of the transition process. From a distributor’s perspective, it is crucial to prepare the network for the growing demand from the commercial energy and heating sectors, whilst remaining open to new avenues such as biomethane. Today, I can say quite clearly: PSG is ready to embrace this – in terms of infrastructure, organisation and finance. At the same time, network development must take place responsibly, as every investment decision has a direct impact on tariffs. That is why one of our priorities is to plan and implement investments in such a way as to ensure the system’s readiness and support the transition, whilst striving to keep distribution costs for customers as low as possible,” emphasised the Chief Executive.
PSG’s participation in the Congress is an important part of the Company’s commitment to industry dialogue and to shaping the future direction of the gas sector in Poland and Europe.
