PSG has completed an important investment for Płock
Polska Spółka Gazownictwa has completed the development of a gas network in the left-bank district of Płock. Thanks to the project, around 1,700 customers have gained access to gas, which will significantly improve air quality in the region. The investment has cost 16 million zlotys.
"Developing a gas network in the left-bank part of Płock" is one of the strategic projects of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa. The decision to launch the project was made at the end of 2016 due to the efforts to improve the residents' quality of life and to its vital importance for the economic growth of this region.
"Polska Spółka Gazownictwa is constantly pursuing new investments to expand its natural gas distribution network throughout Poland. Developing the gas network in the left-bank part of Płock was one of the largest such projects recently implemented by our company. I believe that completing this project will have a real impact not only on the local job market, but also on the residents' daily lives. Access to gaseous fuel means not only comfort, but also safety of use," said Robert Więckowski, the President of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa.
The development of the gas network in the left-bank district of Płock was implemented in a few stages. The first gas pipelines were put into use in 2020. Within the entire project, Polska Spółka Gazownictwa built a total of 48 kilometers of gas pipelines, and brought the blue fuel also to such towns as Dobrzyków, Nowe Grabie, Grabie Polskie and Górki. To date, around 300 utility connections have been built for individual customers. Further development of the gas network covering more streets is currently under consideration.
