Thanks to the project, nearly 25,000 residents of the municipalities of Kłobuck, Wręczyca Wielka, Opatów, and Krzepice located in Śląskie Voivodeship have gained access to natural gas. The completed project makes it possible to supply natural gas to areas previously lacking a pipeline network, located in one of the least gasified regions in this part of the country. The total length of the network built as part of the project is nearly 95 km.

Work on the construction of the gas network began in early 2019. The total value of the project was nearly PLN 79 million, of which PLN 38 million came from EU funding.
The investment project was carried out under the Operational Programme for Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020, Measure 7.1 Development of intelligent storage, transmission and distribution systems, priority axis VII – Assuring energy security, stability, and the continuity of supply.
