“Polska Spółka Gazownictwa is ready to carry out more projects that will primarily serve local communities. A favourable legal environment is important for continued success. Of great importance for the implementation of this project was the introduction of solutions provided for by the law pertaining to the development of re-gasification terminals. It would also be helpful for future investments to regard the energy carrier gas fuel not as a temporary, but as a permanent component of the energy system, said Jakub Kowalski, Member of the Board for Operations of PSG.
Work on the construction of the gas network began in early 2019. The total value of the project was nearly PLN 79 million, of which PLN 38 million came from EU funding.
The investment project was carried out under the Operational Programme for Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020, Measure 7.1 Development of intelligent storage, transmission and distribution systems, priority axis VII – Assuring energy security, stability, and the continuity of supply.
