PSG CEO to head the Gas Industry Chamber of Commerce

It is with pride and great satisfaction that we announce that Szymon Paweł Moś, Chairman of the Management Board of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa, has been elected Chairman of the Management Board of the Gas Industry Chamber of Commerce (IGG).
This is yet another instance in which a representative of the Orlen Group has taken the helm of the Chamber, but the first time that it is the CEO of PSG who has been appointed.

For over two decades, the IGG has been bringing together the gas industry, uniting business, academia and government, and actively shaping the future of the gas sector in Poland and Europe.

As part of the Chamber’s activities, key initiatives are launched to drive technological development and set the direction for change in the industry – from the development of hydrogen and biomethane to shaping standards and regulations for the entire sector. IGG:
  • brings the industry community together and supports the building of business relationships,
  • actively influences the shaping of legal regulations and technical standards,
  • promotes innovation and safety in the gas sector,
  • educates and raises awareness of the role of gas in the energy transition.
The PSG President’s appointment to this role is not only a prestigious honour but also a real opportunity to further strengthen dialogue and cooperation within the sector and to boldly shape the future of the energy industry.

We believe that, thanks to Szymon Paweł Moś's experience, vision and commitment, the Chamber of Commerce for the Gas Industry will become an even stronger voice for the sector, and that our joint efforts will contribute to the development of modern, low-carbon solutions.

We offer our warmest congratulations and wish him every success in tackling these new challenges.

At the same time, we would like to thank Wojciech Kowalski, a Member of the PSG Management Board, who has served as Vice-President of the IGG Management Board over the past few years, for his work on behalf of the Chamber and, by extension, the entire gas sector.
