PSG: Bridging gas fuel does not exempt us from transformation
On Thursday 3 April, Szymon Paweł Moś, Member of the Board of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa, took part in a debate on the future of gas and the role of biomethane in energy transition and the heating sector at the 41st EuroPOWER & RES POWER Conference.
In his speech, he emphasised the strategic importance of the blue fuel in the decarbonisation process and its role in the modernisation of district heating systems.
In the coming years, Polska Spółka Gazownictwa plans to pursue its goal of connecting biomethane plants, which play a key role in the decarbonisation process by replacing fossil fuels with low-carbon and renewable gases.
- PSG is serious about greening its distribution network. At the end of March, we announced the creation of the Absorption Map, which allows companies to quickly analyse sites suitable for biomethane investments. The Absorption Map is therefore a real, viable tool that allows us to see ourselves not only as a leader in gas distribution in Poland, but also in the development of the biomethane market, he said.
