The distinction was awarded during an event held on 16-17 December 2025 in Warsaw. Dr Szymon Paweł Moś, President of the PSG Management Board, accepted the award on behalf of the Company.

This is a breakthrough step towards the green energy transition. Thanks to its partnership with Südzucker and the commissioning of the biomethane plant at the Strzelin Sugar Factory, Poland is no longer a ‘blank spot’ on Europe’s biomethane map.

This year’s Biogas Congress gathered over 500 participants and 60 exhibitors, confirming the growing importance of biogas and biomethane in the energy sector, transport and industry. The event provided an opportunity to discuss European trends, legislative changes and investment prospects in the renewable energy sector (OZE).
