PSG at the Gas Technology Fair EXPO-GAS
The 13th Gas Technology EXPO-GAS hosted a panel discussion on 'The Role of Gas in a Changing Energy Economy', bringing together industry leaders and experts. The discussion focused on the role of gas in the energy transition, as well as infrastructure and security challenges. The debate was attended by Szymon Paweł Moś, Member of the Board of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa, who presented the company's perspective on the future of the gas market.
- When we think about transformation, we can say that the only constant is change. And change is part of the way we work, which I think captures the essence of the conversation about transformation in energy. Gas is now a fuel, perhaps a bridge fuel, but certainly a stabilising fuel - one that provides energy security for residential and commercial consumers, and therefore for the power and heat industry, he said.
The panel also discussed the need to modernise and develop the gas infrastructure. The future of the gas industry is not only about the development of low-carbon technologies, but also those related to ICT.
