PSG and the State Fire Service sign a cooperation agreement

At the headquarters of the State Fire Service in Warsaw, an agreement was signed between Polska Spółka Gazownictwa (PSG) and the National Headquarters of the State Fire Service (PSP). The agreement aims to strengthen the existing cooperation between the parties in the field of fire protection and the safety of gas infrastructure.

The document signed by the parties envisages:
  • increasing the safety of gas infrastructure operation;
  • increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of rescue actions in case of fires, natural disasters, and local threats;
  • protection of life and health of people and property, as well as minimisation of environmental risk in emergencies.
The signed agreement includes carrying out joint measures improving the effectiveness of the cooperation of the PSP and PSG rescue and fire-fighting services, including the organisation of:
  • joint practices on infrastructure facilities of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa;
  • conferences, workshops, and trainings, whose aim will be to shape the proper fire safety culture.
The agreement was signed by Chief Brigadier Wojciech Kruczek – Commander-in-Chief of the State Fire Service, and Arkadiusz Kazana and Wojciech Kowalski – members of the Management Board of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa.
