“Polska Spółka Gazownictwa recently celebrated its tenth anniversary. For a decade, we have been pursuing the goal of expanding the gas network throughout the country. Gas fuel is the most environmentally friendly fossil fuel and should be available to everyone, as it allows improvements in air quality, helps create new jobs, and in the current transition period there is no alternative”, said Marian Zolyniak, Member of the Board for Technical Affairs of PSG. “I would like to thank the MPs and senators for their commitment to implementing changes in the law that help to make it possible to reduce the completion time of gas network expansion projects. At the same time, I call for further adaptation of the legislation to contemporary needs”, he stressed.
The total value of the completed project was more than PLN 91 million, of which nearly PLN 24 million came from EU funding. This is yet another of the numerous projects carried out in Małopolskie Voivodeship.
The investment project was carried out under the Operational Programme for Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020, Measure 7.1 Development of intelligent storage, transmission and distribution systems, priority axis VII – Assuring energy security, stability, and the continuity of supply.
