Polska Spółka Gazownictwa joined GD4S
Polska Spółka Gazownictwa, Poland's largest gas distribution system operator, has joined the European association of gas DSOs, Gas Distributors for Sustainability (GD4S).
In light of the rapidly evolving regulatory and technological landscape within the energy sector, it is imperative that we take action to effectively address the challenges posed by the energy transition. This membership opens up new opportunities for PSG to collaborate internationally and influence the future of the gas distribution sector in Europe.
GD4S unites leading European gas distribution companies, including GRDF (France), Italgas (Italy), Nedgia (Spain), Floene (Portugal), Cadent (UK), and Gas Networks Ireland. Collectively, the association's members serve nearly 35 million customers and manage networks totalling several hundred thousand kilometres. Its areas of focus include the role of distribution networks, the decarbonisation process, the development of renewable gases such as biomethane and hydrogen, and the integration of new technologies into existing infrastructure.
