Gas deliveries to the Rzeczniów commune, realised through island-type development, began at the end of 2022. Starting with the new year, this environmentally friendly fuel has already been used, for example, by two refurbished schools. In July of this year, Polska Spółka Gazownictwa completed construction of the gas line, which guarantees gas supplies to all inhabitants.

‘I would like to thank Polska Spółka Gazownictwa, which is developing the gas network in all of Poland at a similar pace. In this manner, we care for the environment and ecology, while citizens of our entire country can use this practically maintenance-free fuel’, said Marek Suski, MP. 

‘For many years, south Mazowsze was a blank spot on the map of gas network development in Poland. Recently, we have invested significant resources in this region. I would like to invite inhabitants to submit applications for connection to the gas grid. Through our merger with the ORLEN Group, this year we received additional resources for the construction of gas connections. They will enable the connection of about 80 thousand new recipients in total in all of Poland’, added Mr Jakub Kowalski, a member of the Management Board responsible for operations at Polska Spółka Gazownictwa. 

As a part of this investment, over 10 km of gas lines were constructed in the Rzeczniów commune, and several hundred inhabitants of Koszary, Kotlarka, Maziarze Stare, Rybiczyzna, Dubrawa, Grabowiec, Rzeczniów, and Rzeczniów-Kolonia obtained access to this fuel.

‘It is a historical moment for our commune. The commissioning of the newly constructed gas network definitely represents the most important investment in our powiat in recent decades. It offers great opportunities for further development, and thanks to this our commune becomes a leader of change in Mazowsze’, concluded Mr Karol Burek, head of the Rzecznów commune.
