Network gas for Grajewo
“The new infrastructure means not only an increase in the safety of supplies of gas fuel in the region, but also, in the future, the possibility to transmit biomethane or a hydrogen mix. Thanks to that, it will be possible for the emissions from the local economy to be lower,” stresses Wojciech Kowalski, member of the Management Board of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa.
The station, together with medium-pressure gas pipelines going to Grajewo, is to be completed by 2028. The estimated capital expenditures for the construction of the reduction station amount to around PLN 6.7 million net. The project is executed pursuant to the Act of 24 April 2009 on investments related to the liquefied natural gas regasification terminal in Świnoujście.
