‘Local Content. The Polish Economy’ – editorial debate of Rzeczpospolita

“Currently, 96 per cent of contractors working with PSG are entities with Polish capital, with around 90 per cent being companies with exclusively Polish capital. There is a market to build for. We have set our goal and direction, and we are striving to make our contribution to support the development of local business,” said Szymon Paweł Moś, President of the Management Board of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa, during an editorial debate organised by Rzeczpospolita.

The debate, attended by Minister Wojciech Balczun, marked the launch of the ‘Local Content. The Polish Economy’ project. Sixteen representatives from the Polish largest companies and institutions took part in the discussion.

“It is important for us to be a reliable partner that communicates effectively with the market. We organise meetings with the contractors to inform them of our investment plans but also of our requirements. These meetings aren’t always easy, especially in our industry, where technical and safety requirements are very high. However, we strive to clearly communicate what, when and how we plan to do, so that local small and medium-sized enterprises can grow alongside us and plan their own development, building their capabilities, expanding their machinery fleet or, for example, securing financing. This approach is proving to be successful – over the years, our business partners have grown from small family businesses into medium-sized companies, and from medium-sized companies into large ones. Some entities are now listed on the stock exchange,” explained the President of PSG.
