PSG launched a gasworks in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski
On June 14 this year, the gasworks of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa was opened in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski - it was transformed from gas facility operating in this city since September 2020. The gasworks will increase the network’s operational safety and streamline the gas supply in new municipalities in the Świętokrzyskie Province.
- The gasworks in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski proves that we are developing the entire gasification process. Prime Minister Morawiecki’s government is keeping its promises. We are speeding up the country's gasification process. Network gasification, which is to be delivered to municipalities, to the local community, will ensure a safe energy supply, but also contribute to environmental protection and a reduction of energy costs - said Michał Cieślak, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.
- The new Polska Spółka Gazownictwa gasworks, which was established from the gas facility opened last year, is another PSG gasworks that was reactivated after its liquidation. The gasworks returned to Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski to make it easier for customers to reach us, so that the gas fuel can reach a larger number of residents of the Świętokrzyskie Province, said Robert Więckowski, President of the Management Board of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa.
The inhabitants of the second largest city in the Świętokrzyskie Province gained the possibility of direct contact with the company's employees, which will translate into a shorter customer support process and investment implementation time, he adds. - The new gasworks will also increase the safety of the residents - it will carry out all the tasks related to the investments, maintenance and operation of the gas network - emphasizes Więckowski.
