Beginning of gasification in the municipality of Celestynów

Polska Spółka Gazownictwa will build 7.5 km of gas mains in Pogorzel in the municipality of Celestynów. Construction work officially began on Tuesday, and the event was attended by Ireneusz Krupa, Member of the Board for Development and Investment.
On 10 October 2023, Ireneusz Krupa, Member of the Board for Development and Investment of PSG, with the participation of Robert Perkowski, Member of the Board for Extraction at ORLEN; Emilia Banaszczyk, director of Gas Works Branch in Warsaw; the head of the Celestynów municipality, Witold Kwiatkowski; and representatives of the contractor attended a meeting dedicated to the start of construction work in Pogorzel in the Celestynów municipality.

“Today we can begin construction of a gas network that will provide access to gas fuel for almost the entire locality. We envisaged connecting about 100 customers within the framework of the agreement concluded with the contractor in August of this year, and at the moment we have more than 70 connection agreements, and more applications are under consideration – and I strongly encourage you to submit more”, stated Ireneusz Krupa.

By the end of 2023, Polska Spółka Gazownictwa will build a total of about 7.5 km of gas mains and at least 100 connections under a contract worth about PLN 1.24 million gross. To date, about 68 km of gas mains and about 1,400 connections have been built in the municipality of Celestynów.
