The Report of the Entity Responsible for Forecasting on the Accuracy of the Forecasts in the Amounts Received by a Network User, Measured Less Frequently Than Daily

Please be advised that in connection with Commission Regulation (EU) No. 312/2014 of March 26, 2014 establishing a network code on gas balancing in transmission networks, Polska Spółka Gazownictwa sp. z o.o. publishes a Report on the accuracy of forecasts in the quantity received by a network user, measured less frequently than daily. The Report covers the period from September 2022 to August 2024. The Report contains a summary of the process of designating PSG as the Entity Responsible for Forecasting, a description of the forecasting methodology and an assessment of forecasting results.

On May 11, 2016, Polska Spółka Gazownictwa sp. z o.o. was designated by the Energy Regulatory Office as the entity responsible for forecasting the daily volumes of natural gas consumed by network users at consumption points connected to the PSG distribution network, measured less frequently than daily.

Following the guidelines of Article 42 Item 2 of the BAL NC Code (Commission Regulation (EU) No. 312/2014 of March 26, 2014 establishing a network code on gas balancing in transmission networks), PSG has developed and consulted the ”Method for forecasting the amounts taken by a network user, measured less frequently than daily”.
