Gas Heating Demand

According to the provisions of the Distribution Network Code, Polska Spółka Gazownictwa uses the operational and billing values of gas heating demand and the value of the coefficient for average daily fuel gas consumption at WS type outputs, respectively, to perform operational and billing allocations for points without daily consumption recording. Below are the values of these parameters for E and Lw gas.
The operational value of the heating demand (ΔLDGo) and the value of the adjustment coefficient for average daily fuel gas consumption at the WS type output for E gas:

Also, bear in mind that the values of gas heating demand are determined in accordance with Technical Standard of the Chamber of the Gas Industry ST-IGG-2701:2014, entitled “Principles of Fuel Gas Billing in Energy Units”, Item 4.2.3 Formula 7. A negative value of gas heating demand means that the condition specified in Formula 8 of this standard is met, which is synonymous with the allocation made in accordance with Formula 9.

When the value of gas heating demand is less than zero, the WSKt temperature indices determining the change in the average daily gas consumption specified in the Distribution Network Code take the value of zero and the average daily consumption values at the WS type output (ŚDZt) in individual tariff groups are determined taking into account the adjustment factor published in the table above.
